KryptCrawler Coming to Oculus Rift and Gear VR in July

Just before Gamescom 2016, German studio CrazyBunch announced development of its next virtual reality (VR) title, a first-person dungeon explorer called KryptCrawler for Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift. Today the team has revealed the title will be launching next month for both headsets.

Using a combination of turn based and real-time combat gameplay, KryptCrawler challenges players across ten story filled levels. Using a grid-based layout, player will encounter a range of monstrous enemies giant spiders, scorpions and skeletons, using both melee and ranged weaponry depending on whether they prefer going into battle with a sword or bow and arrow.

And to aid in the quest they be able to find weapons and other powerful objects that’ll help defend themselves against their evil foes and unlock new paths.

KryptCrawler is set for release on 20th July 2017 for Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift Stores.

CrazyBunch previous projects include Relaxing VR Games: Mahjong and Break A Brick. While publisher Headup Games has previously released Viking Rage for HTC Vive in April.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of CrazyBunch, reporting back with any further updates.
