At E3 the PlayStation VR had a fairly generous selection of upcoming new titles revealed. Sony have assembled a trailer that recaps some of the biggest announcements of videogames that are expected for the PlayStation VR platform.
The trailer presents a swirling series of TV monitors floating the void of space, with each one getting a moment to show off its stuff as the monitors slide out from the purple-and-blue nebula behind it.
Of course, hugely anticipated titles such as Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Superhot VR, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR were represented as you would expect. Also part of the showcase were already released titles such as Farpoint, and smaller titles such as Tiny Trax, Archangel and The Persistence.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR was one of the biggest titles to be revealed at E3, along with DOOM VFR, both of which are coming from Bethesda. Although less prominent titles such as cute platformer Moss, which allows players to take the role of a tiny, sword-wielding mouse or Star Child, a title which, unusually for a VR title has a third-person perspective where the player avatar explores a neon-lit alien environment.
From frantic first-person shooters to adorable platformers, epic fantasy stories to intimate puzzle titles, PlayStation VR’s upcoming line-up seems to have something to suit a large variety of tastes.
