Game developer and publisher Pixel Wonder has launched Crisis Action VR as a Steam Early Access title, marking the debut of the studio as a virtual reality (VR) developer. Crisis Action VR offers compatibility with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and keyboard-and-mouse control options, so players are able to kill zombies or fight against real people using whatever tools they prefer.
In Crisis Action VR, players are tasked with exploring a variety of unknown areas from a first-person perspective. Along the way the will face numerous battles and tangible tension as they move from all-out-war to the eeriness of an all-too-quiet room. Crisis Action VR includes a wide variety of weaponry, allowing players to battle with their favourites to fight the undead, or each other. In addition to guns and other standard FPS weaponry, the videogame provides melee attack options for players who prefer a close-range fighting style.
Wile at its heart Crisis Action VR is a multiplayer co-operative first-person shooter (FPS) videogame, the title offers multiple gameplay modes including a story mode and competitive modes against both AI opponents and human opposition. Multiplayer modes support up to four players simultaneously.
Crisis Action VR is available to download globally as an Early Access title on Steam now, priced at $29.99 USD, with a launch window promotion offering a 10% discount until 1st August 2017.
