Oculus Continues Summer Deals with Three Content Packs

For anyone that follows the virtual reality (VR) industry you can’t have failed to notice the massive drive Facebook has gone on to promote Oculus Rift and Touch. First there was the usual summer sale, giving owners lots of deals to choose from. Then earlier this month came the big one, a sizeable price reduction for the headset and motion controllers to attract more players. So for new customers to the format they missed out on the big content sale, but Oculus still has a deal or two available for those wishing to bolster their collection. These are the Summer of Rift packs.

There are three available, the Adventure Pack, the Action Pack and the Explore Pack, each of which has different titles included. Included in the Adventure pack is Crytek’s The Climb, Raw Data by Survios, Cherrypop Games’ SportsBar VR and I Expect You to Die from Schell Games. The entire pack costs £52.99 GBP, offering almost 50 percent off the regular price of the videogames individually.

Oculus Touch

The Action Pack features SUPERHOT VR, Wilson’s Heart by Oculus Studios and Fantastic Contraption by Northway Games and Radial Games. The pack retails for ÂŁ39.99, again offering nearly a 50 percent discount for buyers.

While the Explore Pack also features three titles, The Unspoken from Insomniac Games, Everest VR by Solfar Studios and I-Illusions Space Pirate Trainer. This is the cheapest of the bunch at ÂŁ25.49, saving gamers 44 percent.

All three deals are only available for the next 12 days, so if you’ve just got a new Oculus Rift you may want to grab one.

Oculus Rift and Touch is still available for $399 USD/£399 for a limited time. After which the price will go up but not back to the usual £598. Instead there will be a permanent price reduction to £499. For UK customers looking for a PC and headset deal there’s always Overclockers UK, which has just released a sub-£1000 deal.
