Bandai Namco recently revealed a trailer for upcoming aerial combat title Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Now several new screenshots depicting what the action and gameplay will look like in the first Ace Combat title to be virtual reality (VR) compatible.
The latest entry into the Ace Combat franchise deals with a conflict between the Kingdom of Erusea and the Osean Federation, which ignites after the Osean Federation builds a giant space elevator on Erusean territory without permission, thus violating Erusean sovereignty. The Osean Federation deploys is large number of experiences pilots against Erusea, while Princess Rosa Cossette D’Elise of the Kingdom of Erusea struggles to keep up the morale of he people.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is due for release on PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR exclusive missions some time in 2018.
