Megalith and Bow to Blood Revealed at Paris Games Week

Paris Games Week is upon us, and Sony are already off and running with a slew of revelas and announcements. The presenters on the show noted that the PlayStation VR has reached the milestone of its first anniversary, and the show promised updates on 11 PlayStation VR.

The team of the PlayStation Live livestream show offered a brief retrospective on a number of successful titles on PlayStation VR, such as Star Trek: Bridge Crew, SuperHot VR, Resident Evil VII biohazard and Farpoint with the presenters discussing what they liked about each title.

Then the first of the announcements came along. The first title is a first-person title called Megalith. With the player taking the role of a huge, terrifying creature in a world with a bleak, but stylised and almost watercolour aesthetic. Players are titans who are on a quest to become a powerful god. Featuring destructable environments and a range of weapons.

The second title announced was Bow to Blood, a title that puts players in charge of a magnificent floating ship, piloting the high-tech fantasy airship through complex arenas. The levels will feature procedural generation, and players will have the choice on if they wish to join up with other teams and make alliances or go it alone and shoot down anyone that gets too close.

Both titles are expected for release on the PlayStation VR sometime in 2018. A price point and exact time has yet to be confirmed. The trailer for Bow to Blood is available to view below.

VRFocus will bring you further details on Bow to Blood and Megalith and it becomes available.
