Oculus Connect 4 begins later today and this week has started off well for the virtual reality (VR) company. On Monday the VR Awards 2017 were held in London, UK, with 12 awards covering the VR spectrum, and Oculus secured two of the main categories for VR hardware.
Oculus Rift won the VR Headset of the Year category, beating HTC Vive, PlayStation VR, SVR and StarVR. While Oculus Touch succeed in the VR Hardware of the Year category, beating Le4ap Motion and Ultrahaptics among others.
As for the other winners, they were:

VR Game of the Year – Raw Data – Survios
Innovative VR Company of the year – G’Audio Lab
VR Experience of the Year – Tilt Brush – Google
Most Creative use of Marketing in VR – IKEA VR – IKEA
Interactive VR Media / Film of the Year – Allumette – Penrose Studios
VR Start-up of the Year – LiveLike
Best use of VR in Education and Training – ITI Crane Simulator – Industrial Training International
Best use of VR in Healthcare – ImmersiCare – Tribemix
Best out of home VR entertainment – Ghostbusters: Dimension – The VOID
