A couple of hours ago Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) held its pre-Paris Games Week (PGW) 2017 press conference where it announced a bunch of new titles whilst revealing dates some some already known. One of which was Polyarc’s virtual reality (VR) platformer Moss, which was initially due for release in 2017 but has now been confirmed for release during February 2018. One piece of info that wasn’t announced during the livestream that fans maybe keen to know is that pre-orders for the title will be going live today with a couple of bonuses available.
Fans in North, South and Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia will be able to pre-order Moss at the PlayStation Store and GameStop for $29.99 USD from 12pm PST/ 7pm GMT. Polyarc is rewarding players (based in North America) who pre-order with instant access to an exclusive dynamic PlayStation Theme and PlayStation Avatar featuring Moss’s hero Quill and her idyllic forest home. European fans however will have to wait until launch this February for their bonuses.
Love the look of Quill that much that you want more mechandise? Well Polyarc has got you covered with a range of items including mugs, pins, posters and t-shirts, all adorned with the little mouse.
First announced during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 in June, Moss has already captured the hearts and imaginations of those that have played it, with the title looking like its going to be one of the most anticipated for the headset.
Quill’s adventure sees her solving puzzles and exploring a larger-than-life world of caves, forests, and foreboding ruins that are filled with ancient artifacts, mysterious creatures, and sprawling views. It’s already won several accolades and more than 20 global awards and nominations—including a Game Critics E3 2017 nomination for “Best VR Game”.
If you want to learn more about Moss check out VRFocus’ preview from E3 which certainly impressed, as: “Moss deserves a place on your ‘most wanted’ list.”
