Vizor Launches New WebVR Editor Vizor 360

WebVR software company Vizor has announced the public launch of its editor Vizor 360 having previously gone through a private beta.

Vizor 360 has been designed with easy-to-use tools such as instant preview, drag-and-drop features, text editor with web font support and more, allowing users to produce interactive and immersive tours, stories and experiences by simply dragging and dropping media components.

The editor has been built upon the React VR framework that was open sourced by Oculus in April 2017, so that content can reach a large audience across multiple platforms – including the Facebook News Feed.

“What sets WebVR apart is universality and accessibility,” said Kaarlo Kananen, founder and CEO of Vizor in a statementWebVR software company. “Our major goal with Vizor 360 was to ensure the editor was intuitive and effortless for creators of every skill level to use. We’re thrilled to partner with the Oculus team to drive WebVR innovation forward and hope our editor encourages the vision as well.”

Earlier this year Vizor completed a seed funding round, led by The VR Fund and Inventure, raising an additional $2.3 million USD for the company.
