Digital effects and immersive solutions expert Digital Domain has announced its latest venture, partnering with Cenic Media and Talent Television and Film to explore advanced technologies and resources from Hollywood to build an all-new ecosystem for IP development, content creation and distribution in China. As part of this, Digital Domain will be creating virtual reality (VR) solutions for a new TV drama called Ten Years Late.
Starring Shawn Dou, Gulnazar, Jeremy Jones, Cecilia Boey and Rain Wang, Ten Years Late tells a workplace story based in the tourism industry, where people are encouraged to pursue their dream and innovate in their business endeavours. The drama has entered the early shooting stage, and is expected to air in 2018.

Digital Domain is well known for its special and visual effects in Hollywood blockbuster films having won numerous awards working on projects such as Titanic (1997) or Benjamin Button (2008). In terms of VR the company has created the Monkey King series, Storm, Micro Giants, and its own travel series called Teleport, heading to Africa, Dubai, Hong Kong, Iceland, Istanbul, New Zealand and more.
