SVRVIVE Studios have announced that their creepy virtual reality (VR) title Kartong – Death by Cardboard! is leaving early access and releasing in full next month.
Released on Early Access for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive back in October last year, it seems the team over at SVRVIVE Studios have been hard at work. Kartong – Death by Cardboard! puts players into a miniature city made of cardboard that is home to some wicked experiments. Shrunken down by the YouTuber known as “Sven”, players are now trapped like a guinea pig in this cardboard maze and need to survive against evil toys and traps. With mediocre office supply-weapons as the only chance of making it out alive, players will need to be smart in this challenging stealth first-person shooter (FPS) that is all be filmed for Sven’s YouTube enjoyment.
Currently available in Early Access on Steam, Oculus Home and in Viveport’s Subscription Program. The full release will be dropping on April 4th for the same platforms. The release will feature are plenty of new, exciting updates that includes new maps, new traps and gadgets, plenty of new weapons, ammunition and a melee option, upgrades to the locomotion system and plenty more.

Only being their second title, it has proven to be a solid follow up to their successful and acclaimed mystery adventure title SVRVIVE: The Deus Helix.
