Pulse Evolution Files Notice of Change of Substantial Holder Interest

Pulse Evolution Corporation, a leading developer of hyper-realistic digital humans for holographic live performances, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) has announced a notice of change of substantial holder.

The company, most popularly known for producing the animated digital likeness of the late Michael Jackson, has filed a notice of change of substantial holder by Pulse Acquisition Corporation. This special purpose special purpose acquisition corporation affiliated with Michael Williams Productions, itself a Pulse joint venture partner which is currently engaged in the development as a co-Producer of entertainment properties based on Pulse’s key celebrity rights agreements.

This has lead to an agreement that means Pulse Acquisition Corporation will be acquiring approximately 120 million shares of Pulse Evolution Corporation, at a price of $0.62 per share, which if consummated could result in a change of control of the Company. As of 15th March, 2018 the company reported it had acquisition of 72,271,706 shares, or 35% of the current total outstanding shares of the Company.

As a leading pioneer of hyper-realistic digital humans, Pulse Evolution have proven themselves to be a key player in the industry, proving work for entertainment, VR, AR and artificial intelligence (AI). The company was founded by the world’s leading executives and producers of photorealistic digital humans, such as the lead character from the film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and the concert experience “Tupac at Coachella‘. Currently Pulse Evolution’s work is focused more on holographic content including live performances.

The company sees the future of digital humans representing individual consumers as digital likeness avatars, in both a realistic and fantasy setting, talking on the behavior of the consumer thanks to AI and would act on the consumer’s behalf in communication, social media and even videogame experiences. This ‘thinking’ digital human would be appear to others via VR and AR head-mounted displays (HMDs) or smartglasses, allowing for consumer appearances in environments such as classrooms and meetings, all while maintaining a lifelike appearance of its real life counterpart. Ultimately, the company hopes to developer technology that goes beyond entertainment applications and hope to build the ‘face’ of AI.
