Celebrated illustrator, Drew Struzan, has created a number of the most reknown film posters of all time including the likes of Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Star Wars. Now, thanks to Sansar, viewers are invitve to see his recent exhibitioon in virtual reality (VR).
The Art of Drew Struzan: The Studio Experience opened on Friday, 23rd March in Sansar are invites viewers to celebrate the artwork and legacy of the illustrator in a collection of his greatest works. Sansar in conjunction with Drew Struzan and Greg Aronowitz have put together the first of its kind, social VR art exhibit. It features a gallery of fine art, posters and comps that illustrate Drew Struzan’s process, detailing some of the most iconic Hollywood film posters of the last 25 years.
Visitors are invited to experience the The Art of Drew Struzan: The Studio Experience in an immersive, one-to-one scale 3D scanned digital replica of Struzan’s personal studio where he has worked for the last 25 years. Both this studio space and the Hollywood Art Museum are dedicated to the preservation and education of art used in entertainment and with Sensar, the leading social VR platform, sharing all that history just got easier.
Sansar went into beta last year allowing anyone to sign up and create their own social VR experience that works with a number of compatible head-mounted displays (HMDs) and adjust the capacity and customer support options via a monthly payment. For free though, it is enough to be able to jump into The Art of Drew Struzan: The Studio Experience and two others of their choice.
