Be the King of the Ring in Boxing Apocalypse

For those searching for a challenging PvP virtual reality (VR) boxing experience, developers Gotham City Films have just released the title they have been in search of.

Boxing Apocalypse is a VR boxing title where you take on an alien invasion of Earth using just the power of your almighty fists.

The storyline involves being kidnapped by hostile alien invaders and trying to fight back against them by punching them in the face. The developers boast of a simple yet intuitive combat system where players can increase their level of skill by performing particular combinations of punches, then deploying a finishing-move style Power Punch to make sure your foe stays down.

Players can collect customisable armour and an energy shield to block incoming alien attacks. There a five levels to play, including cut scenes. The levels come with multiple difficulty settings ranging from Easy through to Insane Mode. There are also 21 Challenges which can unlock special weapons and armour sets.

If players get bored of facing the AI, there is also PvP mode, where you can engage in combat against other players to properly test your skills. Your win-loss record is stored for you to check how your intergalactic boxing career is doing.

There is also the Apoc Fight Club, a worldwide schedule of times for players to find and face opponents in PvP. The developers welcome livestreaming of the Apoc Fight Club matches and encourage players to spectate at matches and cheer each other on.
