Pixvana, a company focused in cloud-based video content creation and distribution via its SPIN Studio platform has announced WunderVu, an in-house virtual reality (VR) production studio specializing in high-resolution, immersive experiences.
Co-founded by Scott Squires, Creative Director, and Aaron Rhodes, Executive Producer, Squires is an Oscar nominated Visual Effects Supervisor with 30+ years of experience who’s work on films such as Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. While Rhodes has been in the Film and Video industry for nearly 20 years, serving as a Producer, Director, Editor, DP, Colorist, RotoPaint Supervisor, and Visual Effects Supervisor.

WunderVu creates content using 360-degree and 180-degree cameras and production technology, with early projects including an NFL playoff game, in collaboration with the Seattle Seahawks, and an on-field immersive experience of a Seattle Sounders FC match. More recent projects include an ongoing Comic Con series with SyFy Wire as well as brands like Volvo and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
