Currently in development for PlayStation VR, Firewall Zero Hour is a first-person shooter title which focus on two teams of mercenaries battling it out for victory. Detailing the title on the PlayStation Blog back when the title was revealed, First Contact Entertainment’s Creative Strategist Adam Orth explains: “In Firewall Zero Hour, two teams of mercenaries are hired by anonymous contract handlers to either protect or obtain highly sensitive information on a laptop in dangerous and exotic locations around the globe. Each team’s anonymous contract handler acts as their “eye in the sky” and guides each match by providing objectives and critical mission information along the way. Their only concern is the data and they are willing to pay you handsomely for it.”

The title will support both PlayStation Aim and DualShock 4 controller configurations, offering players a choice on how to play this immersive shooter title. Firewall Zero Hour will require players to think tactically within realistic firefights that will encourage teamwork on both the attacking and defending team. Being a multiplayer title, Firewall Zero Hour will support up to eight players in a match for four-versus-four combat all within immersive VR.

The newly released screenshots showcase a number of the titles weapons that players will be able to use during their matches, along with some of the locations that firefights will unfold. It is worth noting that the screenshots are captured in engine on a PC and have been reformatted for non-VR display.

Sony revealed a number of different VR titles during their E3 2018 conference including a new videogame from developer Squanch Games titled Trover Saves The Universe, and a VR title from developer From Software dubbed Déraciné. Firewall Zero Hour is set to release sometime later this year exclusively for PlayStation VR but is not the first VR title from developer First Contract Entertainment, with their first VR title ROM: Extraction having released for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
