If you have ever wanted to attend a culinary school to learn how to become a master chef there is a new virtual reality (VR) title on the way which allow you to do just that. Titled Puppy Chef Academy, the videogame is the second release from develop CTN Design and sees players enter a culinary school as a beginner before working through the challenges to become a master of cooking.
In Puppy Chef Academy, players will take on the role of Yuu who is the first cat to be accepted to the all-dog culinary school. Of course these are not your normal cats and dogs but rather cute girls with ears and features to that of their respective animal. With a heartwarming story about friendship and fitting in to keep the action moving, players will be taken through a number of different challenges where they will have to prove that they have the right to call themselves a culinary master.
Motion controllers allow a player to have an immersive experience of working in a kitchen environment as they chop, bake, and sizzle through twelve recipes from all over the world. From American, Italian and Japanese dishes, players will learn how to cool real-life meals with skills that translate seamlessly between the real kitchen and the virtual one. Even if you feel that you are not skilled enough to cook then never fear as Puppy Chef Academy has been designed to allow players of any skill level to enjoy the experience.
Of course, being the only cat in an all-dog school will have its challenges and so you will not only need to prove you can cook, but prove you belong at the school. Make the most unlikely of friendships, help others, and realize your own potential as a chef at the esteemed Puppy Chef Academy.
The title will be releasing on September 7th, 2018 for $12.99 (USD) on Steam with support for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
