If you’ve had a particularly bad week – and I can honestly say it’s not exactly been stellar for me – don’t worry. Because the weekend is soon at hand. Two days of doing (unless you’re working of course) absolutely whatever you’d like. You can run free, unshackled. Run like a wild horse into your Saturday.
I think you can see where I’m going here.
Today’s video comes from the team at CNN, and sees the American broadcaster in a rather unusual location. The video team have taken a long trip over to France – but not to cover the political situation at the heart of Europe or anything like that. Instead the team headed to Southern France and Parc naturel régional de Camargue (the Camargue National Park).
“Created in 1970 and run by a foundation, the Regional Park runs a global initiative for the protection of spaces and species, and for the support of traditional economic activities.” Explains “It comprises 86,300 hectares across the communes of Arles and Saintes Maries de la Mer. The facilities put in place for visitors, such as observation towers, information boards, themed trails, and guided tours, will enable you to discover the rich Camargue fauna and flora.”
One of those mentioned species includes one of the world’s oldest breeds of horses. Join a French cowboy – yes, there is such a thing – as he rides with the wild horses.
