Augmented reality (AR) is becoming increasingly useful for businesses, offering a range of utility such as stock management, training and remote assistance. Today, Tacton have announced another business-based AR tool, Tacton Visual Configuration.
The new tool extends the capabilities of Tacton’s existing CPQ software by adding drg-and-drop 3D visualisation and AR, which allows manufacturers to offer a more personalised configuration process along with easier visualisations.
The company says that the Tacton Visual Configuration tool allows for real-time visual insights and quicker feedback for design decisions, which helps ensure that the customer is getting the result they want and need.
The new tool is intended to be a valuable asset for sales teams, as it allows customers to see a whole range of options in a simple and intuitive format, regardless of how complex the configuration is. The new tool also means that complex products can be presented in a simple visual way, using AR spatial configuration to ensure a spatial fit.
