The VR Game Launch Roundup: A Dark Week Awaits With Escape Rooms & Murder

It’s Friday so once again VRFocus is looking forward to next week and the exciting virtual reality (VR) videogames due to be released. At the moment there’s no better time to become a hermit and not physically leave the house. Instead, grab your VR headset and step into one of these virtual worlds.

Escape First 3 – OnSkull Games

The third instalment in OnSkull Games’ escape room series, Escape First 3 offers both single-player and multiplayer modes with the latter split between working the rooms out as a team or versus one another in rooms by themselves. Escape First 3 features three locations to complete: The Abandoned School, The Haunted Manor and the Keep of Lost Souls.

Escape First 3

The Maze VR – VRROOM

A giant maze that can be played either solo or online with eight other players. In The Maze VR you’ll need to race, punch, grab, shoot and, of course, think your way through each challenge.

Stocksynd House – CyberFlux Games

For those that just love a puzzle (this week is full of them) Cyberflux Games will be releasing Stocksynd House. Purely single-player this time, the escape room experience is an emotional and creepy horror story designed to be psychological rather than in your face with loads of jump scares.

Industrial Petting – Another Yeti

Making things a little more light-hearted is Another Yeti with its animal-friendly Industrial Petting. This is a videogame about becoming a pet engineer on the edge of the galaxy, where you can find new pets, get them to love you, and sell them on the galactic market. Playable either solo or in multiplayer, you’ll also be able to build factories to make more creatures, farms to feed them and more.
