Still the biggest name in virtual reality (VR) rhythm-action gaming, Beat Saber has today dropped a big music pack for fans featuring none other than Linkin Park.
The new music pack features some of the rock band’s most memorable tracks from the last 20 years as it celebrates the anniversary with a special Hybrid Theory release. Retailing for $13.99 USD or $1.99 each, the tracks included in Beat Saber’s DLC are:
- Bleed It Out
- Breaking the Habit
- Faint
- Given Up
- In The End
- New Divide
- Numb
- One Step Closer
- Papercut
- Somewhere I Belong
- What I’ve Done
All 11 songs span every difficulty meaning that you get 55 beatmaps in total Additionally, the roll-out of the music pack also includes a custom tunnel environment inspired by the One Step Closer music video to further get in the spirit of the songs. This is accompanied by a new four-colour lighting scheme.
The Linkin Park DLC launch continues Beat Saber‘s high profile partnerships with artists such as Imagine Dragons, Timbaland, K/DA, Panic! At the Disco and Green Day alongside Monster Cat artists. All likely helped by Facebook acquiring Beat Games last year. Over 2 million copies of Beat Saber have now been sold with 10 million songs purchased.
