Rock Out With FitXR’s New Music Pack for Oculus Quest

FitXR

Back in July VRFocus reported on fitness company FitXR announcing a rebrand of its boxing workout app BoxVR, calling it the same as the company. Today, fans of FitXR will be able to download a new DLC pack filled with rock music.

FitXR

The first genre-specific DLC for FitXR, the pack includes 20 new rock tracks, as well as 60 minutes of new workouts choreographed to the music. It features sub-genres of Pop Rock, Punk Rock and Hard Rock music, with tracks including Midnight Riot’s ‘Move Yourself’, and ‘Redline’ by Beeches. This is all in response to fans requests for more rock music says the studio.

“We’re delighted to bring FitXR fans our first genre-specific DLC, answering the call from the community for more Rock music which has proved so popular with users. We’re also really proud to expand our DLC portfolio with a fourth pack, allowing FitXR users more ways than ever before to work out the way they want, and have fun doing so. We’re looking forward to the response to the Rock Pack, and are continuing to work on new ways to keep FitXR the most fun, immersive and accessible way to keep fit,” said Sameer Baroova, Co-founder of FitXR in a statement.

The Rock Pack retails for £7.99 GBP/$9.99 USD. It’s the fourth music pack available for FitXR with the others being the Essentials Pack containing music tracks from happy house to hard rock, the Extreme Pack with more strenuous workouts and the Total Body pack, focusing on whole-body movement.

FitXR

FitXR offers solo and multiplayer modes where you can workout with other people. With a variety of energetic sessions designed for people of different fitness levels, FitXR challenges players to jab, weave, dodge, squat and uppercut during each workout routine.

“As an addition to your workout routine FitXR has plenty to offer. It’s like a drill instructor where everything is done by the book because the system is tried and tested. While the title doesn’t have the flair of Synth Riders or the sheer insanity that is Beat Saber’s Expert+ it can still hold its own in the VR fitness world,” said VRFocus‘ review.

FitXR is available for Oculus Quest. For further updates on the latest music packs, keep reading VRFocus.
