Today sees the launch of Star Wars: Squadrons so most of you will likely be playing that for a while. If space battles aren’t your thing then not to worry, there are plenty of virtual reality (VR) videogames coming next week for most platforms for you to enjoy. So here’s VRFOcus’ roundup of the most interesting.
Micro Monsters with David Attenborough – Alchemy Interactive
Yes ok, this isn’t a videogame but as it’s got the legendary Sir David Attenborough Micro Monsters is still worth a mention. A five-part series coming to Oculus TV taking viewers into the tiny world of arthropods, see what amazing feats these tiny creatures get up to. Word of warning – it does contain spiders.

Falcon Age – Outerloop Games
Having already released for Oculus Quest, PlayStation VR and PC VR headsets via the Epic Store, Outerloop Games’ Falcon Age will finally arrive on Steam next week. Befriend a falcon and team up to help save your planet from a mega-corporation harvesting the world’s resources.

Mortal Blitz: Combat Arena – Skonec Entertainment
A free-to-play (F2P) PvP shooter, Mortal Blitz: Combat Arena enables four players to go head-to-head in action-packed arenas. Players will be able to teleport between hexagonal platforms to get the upper hand, looking for new loadouts littered around. Via payable DLC players will also be able to unlock a single-player mode and other features.

Blaston – Resolution Games
Another multiplayer from Resolution Games, in Blaston this time it’s all about slow-motion dueling, player vs player. In close proximity to one another, players have to grab weapons around their platform to shoot their opponents, all while dodging incoming attacks.

The Walking Dead Onslaught – Survios
The next VR title from one of the biggest studios in the industry, Survios teamed up with AMC to create The Walking Dead Onslaught, featuring the characters from the TV show. Offering an original storyline where you have to survive in the Alexandria Safe Zone, you’ll be able to arm yourself to the teeth to kill walkers whilst hunting supplies. Already digitally released, now its time for the physical PlayStation VR version.
