Facebook launched the Oculus Quest 2 only 5 months ago and its been doing that well there’s never been a deal on it so far – the original Quest never saw a discount. Surprisingly, UK retailer GAME is currently selling both models for £20 lower then everywhere else, so you might need to be quick.

Assuming its not a pricing error, for the time being at least you can grab the Oculus Quest 2 64GB model for £279.99 GBP and the 128GB model for £379.99. That’s a decent saving considering nowhere else has that sort of deal, plus you can use the saved money to buy content.
While GAME does sell trade-in products and allow third-party resellers both listings clearly indicate the products are new and come directly from the retailer. Considering even Oculus’ own website has never discounted the headset – even for Christmas – if you’ve been holding off then now’s a good time to take the plunge. All the Oculus Quest 2 accessories are the standard retail prices or there’s always the Oculus Rift S which is currently down to £299 saving £100 off the regular cost. The PC VR headset is being discontinued this Spring don’t forget.

Once that happens Oculus Quest 2 will be Facebook’s sole VR headset. Recent updates have rapidly expanded its usability with multi-user accounts and app sharing on the same device, Facebook Messenger, App Lab and more now available. In the latest v26 update you can even place a virtual couch over your real one, great for taking a quick break in between some of the hectic titles.
