Triathlete Chris McCormack Becomes Brand Ambassador for AR Smartglasses

Augmented reality (AR) smartglasses company Everysight have announced that athlete Chris McCormack, known to many as Macca, is to become the company’s first brand athlete, promoting the company’s Raptor AR Smartglasses, a product aimed at cyclists and triathletes. The Raptor AR Smartglasses are designed to provide cyclists with accurate real-time information to make them into better riders.

“Everysight Raptor is a monumental leap forward that will revolutionize the way we consume and interact with information while training and racing. Once you’ve experienced Raptors, there’s no turning back – you’ll never want to ride without them. They are amazing, an absolute game-changer,” said Chris McCormack, Everysight Brand Athlete, Triathlete Hall of Fame inductee, and co-founder of the Super League Triathlon Championship.

Our first product, the Raptor AR Smartglasses, is all about harnessing and improving your strength, power, and endurance to gain the hard-earned ability to overcome obstacles and achieve personal greatness. Next VR and NFL Return With More VR For 2017 Season

The National Football League and Next VR have again teamed up for the 2017 season to bring fans five new VR experiences, hosted by Super Bowl XLIV Champion Reggie Bush.

The VR experiences will cover five post-game highlights, covering the best moments in each game in high-resolution VR. Each VR show will be available to fans on-demand from the NextVR app.

As a taster of what the expect, on the NextVR app now is a preview show hosted by Elika Sadeghi who will give viewers a VR rundown on what can be expected from upcoming games.

The Five games that will feature post-match VR experiences are:

  • Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 15

  • Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots on Sunday, October 29

  • Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, November 12

  • Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders on Sunday, November 26

  • Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants on Sunday, December 10
