Previously released on Steam Early Access, inVokeR is a videogame where the player participates in dangerous wizard duels, and is now headed to Windows Mixed Reality.
Developer 8th Shore Inc. released the title earlier this year for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on Steam in Early Access form. With the Windows Mixed Reality devices now available to buy, the developer has decided to port the title to that platform, releasing inVokeR: Fall Bass Trials on the Microsoft Store.
inVokeR is a title where the player takes on other powerful magic users in one-on-one wizard duels. Spells are cast using simple gestures, to make things easy for new players to pick up. More complex combinations and timings can be picked up as users grow in experience and learn to wield the elements of Fire, Earth, Ice and Wind more effectively.
There are currently several off line modes available Windows Mixed Reality version, players can hone their skills in the Target Break Time Attack mode, work against an AI to perfect their spellcasting, or for a more difficult challenge, take on the Boss Trials. Online matches are currently unavailable, but the developers at 8th Shore say this will be fixed very soon with a patch.
The Microsoft Store currently lists inVokeR with a launch discount, reducing the price to $11.99 from the usual price of $14.99. Further information can be found on the official 8th Shore website. A teaser trailer can be viewed below.
