Welcome to Wednesday as we continue our week of music related 360 degree videos. Last time out we were being chased by a girl who didn’t understand the word ‘no’ in Swiss singer Seven’s Samsung-backed music video from 2015. (My, that was an unintended tongue-twister.) Now we’re moving forward a year into 2016 and the music of American musician Stefan Kendal Gordy – better known as Redfoo, part of musical duo LMFAO and best known for 2011 hit Party Rock Anthem.
In 2016 though Redfoo is four years into his solo career post-LMFAO and releases his second studio album Party Rock Mansion. From which the song Lights Out is used as a promotional single, a song with a hint of inspiration from a lost love.
“She was in college and a tennis player, we started playing tennis and she moved into my house and after three months she moved out.” Redfoo explained in an interview. “Lights Out is about her when I first saw her and the song Maybe is about her.”
The artist is currently on a break and is changing up his lifestyle. Including, apparently, developing a burgeoning interest in coding. Perhaps not all that surprising considering the beginning of the video sees Redfoo explaining to his friends how cool and useful the app Friendable is.
You can see the video below.
“Redfoo and the Party Rock Crew unexpectedly embark on a crazy adventure through time, and keep you hanging on inside the eye of the storm. With full 360 degree visual freedom, you control the camera to find all the elements that make the story come to life, and turn the past into Party Rock before going back to the Footure.”
VRFocus will be back with another music video in 360 degrees this Friday at the usual time, be sure to check back throughout the day in the meantime for all the very latest in immersive technology news.
