The highly popular and successful virtual reality (VR) title Moss, released early this year as a digital-only purchase for PlayStation VR is now getting a physical version.
Moss follows the tale of the ever cute mouse character Quill, who the player must accompany on an epic adventure, solving puzzles and fighting off various enemies together. With a colorful fantasy world to explore Moss captured the hearts of many when it first released with little details helping to make the experience more engaging. This includes the fact that the player and Quill can only communicate through sign language. The title was so well received that it is Currently, the title is sitting as the highest rated PlayStation VR title release so far this year on Metacritic,
The newly announced physical edition of Moss will see the epic adventure moving from being a digital-only purchase to having a place on consumers shelfs, should they wish to show it off in all its glory. Thankfully, the physical release will cost the same as the digital version priced at $29.99 (USD) and is set to release next month on June 12th.
VRFocus’ Staff Writer Rebecca Hills-Duty reviewed Moss saying: “Moss is a flawlessly crafted experience starring a character that absolutely deserves to be the face of modern VR. Elsewhere, Moss reached out beyond PlayStation VR when developer and publisher Polyarc released a number of animated stickers that brought the lovable Quill to iOS devices. It’s success is no surprise as well given that it was also the number one PlayStation VR title in the month of March, beating a number of other popular titles such as Job Simulator and Super Hot VR.
